Shopportunity Live

“From launch to $100K in revenue in sixty days.”

Live shopping for outlet and sample-sale deals — shoppers watch a stream, ask questions in chat, and buy before the drop sells out. Bytevia guided it from an idea to a revenue-generating product in one season.

Where it started

A clear goal. An unforgiving format.

The goal was sharp from day one: sell outlet and sample-sale inventory through live video, where urgency does the marketing. The founders knew retail. They didn’t need a lecture on live commerce — they needed someone to own the technical path.

The catch: live shopping is one of the hardest formats to ship. Video, chat, inventory, and checkout run in the same sixty-second window. If any one of them lags, buyers watch someone else’s stream.

What kept the team up at night

“Can a stream, its chat, its stock counts, and its checkout stay in sync when a drop goes live?”

What was at stake

Inventory is seasonal. Miss the window, and the opportunity — and the stock — moves on.

How Bytevia guided it

The founders owned the vision. We owned the path to it.

01 — CLARIFY

Scope to the moment of purchase.

We cut everything that didn’t serve the live moment. No web app, no Android, no seller marketplace at launch — one native iOS experience where watching becomes buying in two taps. Saying no early is what made sixty days possible.

02 — BUILD

Real-time first, everything else second.

The backbone came before the polish: live streams, chat, stock counts, and checkout on one synchronized loop, tested under drop-day load. Then UX/UI that keeps the product — not the interface — on stage.

03 — GROW

Learn from every drop.

Every stream is instrumented — where viewers arrive, when they buy, where they drop off. Each week’s drops shape the next release. That loop, not a launch-day spike, is what carried revenue to six figures.

“The right question wasn’t ‘what features should the app have?’ It was ‘what has to be true for someone to buy from a stream?’”

That question set the scope, the architecture, and the launch date. It’s the same question we’d ask about your product — before a single screen is designed.

How the story ends — so far

$0 → $100K

in revenue within two months of launch — with the live format proven and a roadmap the data keeps writing.

What the client got beyond the app:

A technical path they didn’t have to figure out themselves.

One team accountable for the outcome, not just the code.

A product that keeps improving with every drop.
