Where it started

An industry where the checkout is the villain.

Everyone in live music has the same story: a $25 ticket that costs $37 at checkout. Fans resent it, artists get blamed for it, and independent venues lose sales to it — while the fees go to a platform none of them chose.

CW Talent Group was building a live-music ecosystem — talent management, touring, fan community. It needed ticketing rails that matched its fan-first thesis, not rails that taxed it.

The real question

“What does ticketing look like when the checkout price is just the ticket price — and the platform still works as a business?”

What was at stake

Ticketing touches every side of the ecosystem — fans, artists, venues. If the rails fail, everything built on top of them fails with it.

How Bytevia guided it

The pricing model was the strategy. The platform had to prove it.

01 — CLARIFY

Make the fee structure the product.

The differentiator wasn’t a feature — it was $0 fan fees and one flat rate, stated everywhere. We scoped the platform around proving that promise: transparent pricing on every event page, no fine print at checkout.

02 — BUILD

One platform, three audiences.

Fans discover and buy without friction; artists sell on their own terms; venues list, manage, and track sales from a real dashboard — on the web, or from the organizer apps on iOS and Android. One platform serves all three without becoming three products stapled together.

03 — GROW

Build rails the ecosystem can stand on.

CWTix isn’t a standalone bet — it is built to power the CW Talent Group ecosystem, from artist development to the Encore Club fan community. Organizers own their data outright, so growth on the platform is growth they keep.

“When your business model is the message, the product’s only job is to make it impossible to disbelieve.”

If your product’s edge is a promise — on price, on speed, on trust — we design and engineer so the promise is visible on every screen.

How the story ends — so far

Built, tested,
launching soon.

The platform is finished and preparing to open to independent venues and artists, with the CW Talent Group ecosystem growing around it.

What the client got beyond the platform:

Ticketing rails they own instead of fees they pay.

A pricing story every fan and venue can repeat.

A foundation the rest of the ecosystem plugs into from day one.
